Is the weather always like this?

It would make sense for any sort of condition to have those.

Say what you will about Johto, at least they can use what they're handed.

Given the lack of sense displayed elsewhere, it was kind of a pleasant surprise, actually.

Are you talking about things besides the obvious when it comes to Johto?

Not in particular, unless letting prepubescent kids getting to walk around with living weapons of mass destruction is non-obvious.

[There's plenty of other stuff that doesn't make sense YET, in terms of physics and such, but that's the big one when it comes to logic.]

Off the top of my head, there's also the criminal organization that thinks running around in obvious uniforms is a good idea and the fact that two weeks in a cell is the standard punishment for any kind of law-breaking, regardless of severity, and the lack of an official disaster response agency when random typhoons and the like seem fairly commonplace...
